✨ Otter Valley’s 3rd Annual Career Day is Coming! ✨
Friday, March 13, 2026 • 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
We’re excited to announce that preparations are underway for the third annual Otter Valley Career Day, and we’re looking for local businesses, educational institutions, and community partners to help make it another outstanding experience for our students! As part of our goal of helping all of our students thrive in a competitive workforce, this professional participation is critical.
The past two years have been incredible thanks to the many professionals who shared their time, expertise, and enthusiasm. It may feel far off, but March will be here before we know it — and we’d love for you to be part of this year’s event.
Career Day is made up of three key parts, and you’re welcome to participate in any (or all!) of them:
🔧 Middle School Career Sessions
Present alongside 1–2 others in your field and introduce students to your background, training, and day-to-day work.
Hands-on demos or activities are strongly encouraged — they always make the biggest impact!
There are four 30-minute sessions, and we’re happy to help you brainstorm ideas.

🌱 Pathways Fair (Grades 10–12)
From 10:00–11:00 AM, our high school students explore their next steps by connecting with colleges, training programs, apprenticeship opportunities, and employers from across the region.
This is a fantastic chance to meet all of our students and help them envision their future pathways.

💵 Financial Reality Fair (9th Grade)
New this year! We’re partnering with a local organization to give 9th graders a hands-on look at budgeting and financial decision-making after high school.
Volunteers are needed to help guide students through the experience.

Anyone from your organization is welcome to take part, just be sure to fill out the corresponding form so we know where to expect you. We truly believe that early exposure to industry helps students discover their interests and prepare for their futures, and your participation makes that possible.
We’ll also be providing snacks and lunch as a small thank-you for supporting our Otter Valley students.
